McLaren’s triumph in the grueling race on June 18, 1995, was no one-off occurrence. The #59 McLaren F1 GTR, piloted by drivers JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya, crossed the finish line in first place amidst an arduous 24-hour competition, with three additional F1 GTRs also finishing in the top five. This extraordinary performance firmly established McLaren among the pantheon of endurance racing legends, further solidifying its reputation by achieving the coveted motorsport “Triple Crown”—winning at both the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500, in addition to Le Mans. The new 750S Le Mans Edition serves as a rolling homage to this illustrious legacy.

The 750S Le Mans Edition distinguishes itself visually from the standard 750S through a variety of enhancements from McLaren Special Operations (MSO). One of the standout features is the MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK), which includes a redesigned front bumper outfitted with a larger carbon fiber splitter as well as an imposing raised rear spoiler with endplates. These aerodynamic modifications effectively boost downforce by 10%, ensuring that the car exceeds expectations on the track.
The design incorporates significant motorsport design cues, allowing customers to select from two distinctive exterior colors: the classic Le Mans Grey, echoing the original paint of the 1995 race car, or the unmistakable McLaren Orange. Additional elements such as a roof scoop, five-spoke Le Mans-style wheels with a Stealth finish, and F1 Gold brake calipers, combined with painted Le Mans branding, reinforce the vehicle’s performance-oriented character. Every aspect, including the gloss black louvres and the titanium exhaust finisher, has been meticulously curated to pay homage to McLaren’s rich racing heritage while pushing the boundaries of the 750S’s design aesthetic.

The homage to the Le Mans victory extends within the cabin, which offers two unique interior themes. One showcases a combination of Carbon Black Alcantara paired with Dove Grey accents, while the alternative theme marries McLaren Orange with the same black Alcantara base. Headrests feature debossed Le Mans logos, complimented by branded floor mats and a custom dedication plaque—reminding occupants that they are experiencing one of the rarest 750S builds to date.

Beyond visual enhancements, the 750S Le Mans Edition retains the high-performance components that define the model. Under the hood lies a potent twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 750 PS (equivalent to 740 horsepower), complemented by a carbon fiber Monocage II chassis and Proactive Chassis Control III suspension.
