The second week of testimony in the Diddy trial has concluded, with prosecutors striving to establish their racketeering case against the music mogul, aided by Kid Cudi’s testimony.
On Thursday, Cudi took the stand, narrating incidents from his love triangle involving Cassie and Diddy during the years 2011-2012. He recounted a break-in at his residence and a Molotov cocktail incident involving his Porsche.

Cudi alleged that Diddy broke into his home and went through Christmas presents after discovering his relationship with Cassie. He also expressed his belief that Diddy may have been involved in the incident where his Porsche was set ablaze.
A renowned celebrity makeup artist testified about witnessing Cassie with facial injuries following a heated argument with Diddy in a hotel after a 2010 Grammys party at one of Prince’s venues.
In addition, a manager from an upscale hotel in Los Angeles provided testimony about Diddy’s time as a guest there. The hotel staff noted that Diddy had a preference for a warm room and required frequent deep cleaning due to repeated candle wax and baby oil spills.
Cudi’s testimony added an intriguing layer to the trial; however, the most powerful potential evidence against Diddy could come from Suge Knight. Suge claimed that Diddy would have resorted to using firearms if he found him at Mel’s Drive-In, referencing an earlier courtroom narrative.
Suge could be the missing piece in the prosecution’s case linking Diddy to organized criminal activity. However, during a conversation from prison, he noted that he was not called as a witness for the trial.
With the court in recess until Tuesday, the upcoming sessions should reveal whether the prosecution can build a stronger case regarding the racketeering charges. So far, they appear to have made significant progress in proving allegations of sex trafficking through coercion and transportation for prostitution.
